I recently took a four-month break from traveling – but not so ironically, my wanderlust bug didn’t stop itching me! I decided to do a bit of a “stay-cation” mixed with some self-care and pampering in my home city of New York and staying at Archer Hotel  in midtown was the best gift I could’ve given myself.

I checked into Archer Hotel one very rainy Sunday night. Despite the gloomy, chilly weather – I was greeted with warm smiles and nothing but friendly, quality customer service. I was given the 4-11 on the property. I was handed a “joker” card which is good for $20 off of add-on services in the property (such as a cocktail or room service). What did I love about the joker card? If you decide to save it and are able to acquire three from different properties ((Austin, Burlington, Florham Park, Napa, New York, Redmond) you have an Archer Flush and it’s good for one free night towards a future stay at an Archer property. How cool is that?!

I made my way to my room (a double-double with an Empire State View – insert heart eye emoji) and immediately fell in love. The floor to ceiling windows boasted the most beautiful views of the Empire State Building and New York City skylines.

The views to the left and right looking outside of my bedroom. Even gloomy, the views were still stunning!

The chic décor was stylish but not stuffy – creating a welcoming ambiance. Waiting for me on the desk was a welcome note with complimentary bottled water and the most delicious sea-salt caramels. I’m not ashamed to admit that I consumed both caramels within minutes of checking in!

Being that I checked in after 9 pm, my room was already prepped with turn-down service. Archer Hotel doesn’t just have your average “turn the sheets down” turn-down service, either. Waiting on the bed was the cutest tray featuring the most delicious chocolates (I’m also not ashamed to say I ate both of them before bed, either!). The bonus? Archer also left their favorite bedtime books right on the bed for me! Such a cute and personalized addition that I absolutely loved.

How cute is this tray that came with my turn-down service chocolates?

I absolutely adored the “Archer’s Favorite Bedtime Stories” amenity. One of my favorite amenities at any hotel to date!

As if the bedroom wasn’t beautiful enough – the bathroom, with black and white subway-tiled bathrooms were icing on top of a gorgeous cake. Equipped with Malin + Goetz bath amenities and super comfy, Archer “A” monogrammed Frette Robes. The bathrooms, alone, are a reason to come back to Archer Hotel!

Everything about the Archer Hotel bathroom was something I could get jiggy with.

I got to bed fairly early as I knew I wanted to check out the Spyglass Rooftop Bar (with insane Empire State Building views) around sunrise. But, I couldn’t get over my view and tuned into some Netflix with a side of an Empire State View.

Who wouldn’t want to “Netflix & Chill” with a view like this?!

After a great night’s sleep, I woke up bright and early to catch the sunrise from the Spyglass Rooftop Bar. While the gloomy weather wasn’t ideal, there was nothing like those views and hues! It was the perfect place for a mini-photoshoot and I had the best time setting my tripod up and posing with the Empire State Building in the backdrop!

Does it get any better than these views?! I don’t think it can!

Being that I had such an early wakeup call – by the time I headed back down to my room – I was hungry. I was also checked into Archer Hotel a few days before Valentine’s Day and I knew I wanted an “Instagram worthy” shot (or two) in my room with the epic NYC views. I ordered up some room service (if you’re at Archer Hotel in New York – do yourself a favor and order the egg sandwich on a delicious brioche bun) and had a blast playing with the views and my Valentines props!

Talk about a breakfast of dreams!
