I spent two years living in Miami, Florida and the magic city holds a special place in my heart. Any time I have an opportunity to return, for work or pleasure, I jump at the opportunity! I recently spent a few weeks in Miami and went down to Wynwood, in the Design District to explore the murals and artwork with my friend Taylor from Travel Colorfully and my trusty Polaroid Snap.
One of the first murals we spotted was a giant, multi-colored piece that read “LOVEISM” and we both fell in love with it!

The lines and colors of this mural made it a perfect place to play “fill in the blanks” with my Polaroid Snap.
One of my favorite walls to not only snap but photograph! Doesn’t the yellow remind you of a sunburst?!
Here I am posing on a different area of the same mural.
I firmly believe this overdose of PEACE and LOVE is exactly what we all need.
And, of course, who wouldn’t want to be reminded to WISH, especially so beautifully?!
The same mural that reminded us to wish, also reminded us to dream.
I couldn’t resist using the Polaroid Snap to have as a keepsake from that wall. We should never stop dreaming!
This wall just reeked, “MIAMI” to me. The art-deco lines, colors and designs are so in line with what made Miami, Miami.
What’s really cool about Wynwood is that there’s art, everywhere. Don’t forget to stop and look down because if you do – you might miss an important message!
Let’s keep it real. Who doesn’t love that perfect selfie-opp? When exploring Wynwood – the opportunities are endless!
I also had just as much fun photographing the wall with my Polaroid Snap as I did posing in front of it!
Wynwood, Miami, is the ultimate playground for art lovers and color fanatics alike. There isn’t a square inch of the Wynwood area that doesn’t grasp your attention and I’m so glad that after two years I had the pleasure of visiting again! I’m even more glad that this time I took my Polaroid Snap along with me so that I have some tangible memories from my explorations.
When I lived in South Florida I would frequently visit Miami. The I can’t believe I never saw some of the walls you posted. Each photo is more beautiful and vibrant then the next. Thank you for sharing these. Love the Peace & Love one the most!
The Peace & Love one was one of my faves! Thanks so much for the wonderful comments <3
I always love to chase wall art, especially abroad. Yet I’ve missed so many of these in Miami, so I’m saving this post because when I’m going back I want to find them all 🙂
Let me know if you need any help finding any of them! I lived in Miami for two years and still love visiting Wynwood!
Hello Jacklyn I need help finding all of them because I am so amazed! I want to go to Wynwood and take cute pictures with this beautiful walls! However if possible I was wondering if you could help me.
Unfortunately, I’m not all that sure as the walls change almost weekly/monthy! But walking around Wynwood you’ll for sure stumble on some of these!
Loving the vibrant colors! You do Miami justice for sure. Also, super unique to do your tour via Polaroids! Makes everything pop that much more.
Thanks doll! I had so much fun photographing the walls with my Polaroid!
What fantastic photos, the colours are stunning! I adore the photos with the Polaroids in too. I will definitely be seeking this out the next time I’m stopping over in Miami.
Thanks Rosie!
I’m such a fan of street art. That’s the first thing I look for in a new country. I haven’t had a chance to visit Wynwood, but can’t wait already! Great photos 🙂
Thanks Anete!
These pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I used to visit Wynwood all the time when I lived on that coast and I love how the art is always changing 🙂
SAME! I visited Wynwood ALL THE TIME when I lived in Miami and barely even remembered my way around a year and a half later because the walls were all so different!
I discovered Wynwood on Pinterest and it looks awesome! Between all of the art deco architecture and these beautiful murals, I need to visit Miami asap. Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks Emily! Wynwood is so fun!
we are absolutely obsessed with finding street art – i think its the best part on why you need to walk to explore a city – you can spot art everywhere. Also, perfect background for your Instagram pics!
Thanks so much! Taylor and I had a blast taking insta-worthy shots that day 🙂
How cool! I had no idea that Miami had so much fantastic street art. Murals and other public art is one of my favorite things to scout out when I travel. Definitely adding Miami to my must-visit list!
Miami’s art district is like no other! It’s truly amazing how the city embraces art, literally on its walls!
I never thought that I’d see so much art in Miami especially since the city isn’t known for it but for its beaches! Amazing photos girl! Now it’s incentive for me to go back to Miami and experience this xx
You totally should go back and check out the art scene in Miami, it’s huge!!!
I love Wynwood walls, Miami in general is also my favorite place! Great to read your experience and see the photos from familiar places
Thanks so much for checking it out, Linda!
