There’s something remarkable about traditional Parisian architecture…and Hotel de la Tremoille serves as an ambassador for the romantic, elegant, classic Parisian style.. infamous in its beauty.
Located in the “Golden Triangle”, home to the Eighth Arrondissement, Hotel de la Tremoille is in the perfect location to stroll to Laduree on the Champs-Elysèes and pick up some macarons to enjoy under the Eiffel Tower.
Even with the location of stones throw away from some of the most visited areas in Paris, Hotel la Tremoille is ever so conveniently tucked away on a rather quiet street, away from any of the city of lights’ loud hustle and bustle.
It’s no surprise that La Tremoille has been identified with luxury, design and elegance for nearly 100 years, having been transformed from a private residence to a hotel in 1925. The property boasts seven types of rooms and suites ranging from double standard to two bedroom suite, and all are uniquely designed and furnished with modern opulence.

The room itself had some great bonuses: excellent connecting wi-fi as well as a Nespresso machine (I’m a certified espresso addict so this was great for me.) Hotel de la Tremoille also offers around the clock room service (as well as 24 hour concierge service), and there’s even a “hatch” so that you don’t have to open your hotel room door when room service is delivered. I didn’t utilize the hatch and instead welcomed the deliverer of my breakfast in one of the plush robes that was in the armoire. I also took two showers during my (give or take) 18 hour stay at Hotel de la Tremoille, solely because there were so many Molton Brown body washes to choose from in the bathroom.
I’m not the biggest breakfast person so I enjoyed a double serving of espresso, and a cappuccino, as well as freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and a pastry basket, served with various jams and honey.
There were six different scent options for body wash. After six weeks of hotel soap this was truly heaven.
There was no shortage of amenities at Hotel de la Tremoille. From a luxury spa, to five star around the clock service, to the Louis 2 Restaurant. The restaurant’s atmosphere in the evening for dinner was sophisticated, yet relaxed and there was no shortage of five star service from the staff, who paired my meal with the perfect wine.
The arrangement of the booths were perfect for added privacy when dining.

I dined on a delicious dinner at the Louis 2 restaurant that was seasonally inspired with traditional French Cuisine. For my first course I enjoyed a delicious foie gras appetizer with a fig jam and my guest enjoyed a fresh, seasonal, tomato and cheese salad. For my main course I dined on a deliciously marinated lamb that came with a side of stuffed zucchini while my guest had steak with large cut potato fries.
Perfectly paired foie gras with crostini and fig jam.
Beautiful medley of tomatoes with pesto and fresh mozzarella.
My beautifully plated lamb entree.
My guests not so average steak and fries.
All in all, I can’t imagine how my stay at Hotel de la Tremoille could’ve been any better. The service, the decor, the amenities, the location, the cuisine – was all perfect. If traveling to Paris Hotel de la Tremoille is a premier choice when booking a hotel.
